Our weekend in Sicily with Andreina and Don Vito was fantastic. Andreina had prepared a fabulous Sicilian dinner for us. We four had a great night talking over a wonderful home-cooked meal featuring a number of traditional Sicilian dishes. In the mornings, we enjoyed the traditional Sicilian breakfast of soft bread, ricotta, homemade jams, fresh fruit juice, and a perfect cup of cappuccino. Andreina is a great cook :) Andreina and Vito were extremely generous hosts, and their home was beautiful and clean. We felt comfortable in their home, and we were treated more like family than house guests. If you are visiting Sicily and want to know its people, staying with Andreina and Vito will be a memorable and worthy experience. We miss them already!
It was a wonderful experience to stay with Andreina and Vito! My little son and I were welcomed very friendly and felt instantly at home in this warmhearted Sicilian family. For my son it was even a bit like seeing his own grandparents and he is still talking about them. And Andreina is an exceptional cook and we enjoyed a lot staying there for meals. We'll come back for sure

Sicily is beautiful and for a first time visit it is amazing. However, the one thing that made the experience simply fantastic is the whole atmosphere around Alessandro's place and his parents who are absolutely gorgeous. I will never forget the taste of capuccino, granita, lemon gem, and I can keep it like this for long ;) Grazie mille!
